Our Story

Our namesake, Jim Fox or Kask'an in the Tlingit language was the great grandfather of founder, George Bahm. Jim was originally from Douglas Island in Juneau Alaska. He went inland to what is now the Yukon with his young bride XXX. After many years of successful trapping, he acquired the rights to trap on lands ranging between Lake Laberge and Watson Lake and was considered both a prolific and successful trapper. To this day, his great grandson, George continues to trap wild furs on one of the original traplines.
